ABSTRACT

Healthy rural reconstruction is a widely explored intervention implemented by China Rural Health Devel-opment Project with the support of the World Bank and UK Department for International Development. By using initial pro-ject baseline data survey, mid-term evaluation and supervision, terminal evaluation of acquired qualitative and quantitative data, this paper analyzes the intervention policy design and initial effects of China's healthy rural reconstruction. With transforming the living environment in rural areas as the starting point, the project has relatively achieved good results, by using different policy measures such as improving the environment, creating a social environment conducive to villagers' health, expanding and providing high-quality health services, foster healthy behaviors and lifestyles, etc. The main results include the expansion of the project to cover 745 administrative villages, the environment of healthy villa-ges is much better than other neighboring villages, villagers' health knowledge has been greatly increased, lifestyle be-haviors of villagers have improved, the attitudes and participation rate of residents in cultural and sports activities have improved, etc. This paper suggests implementing the healthy rural reconstruction nationwide. It is very important to in-tegrate the concept of healthy village throughout the connotation of all kinds of new rural reconstruction, so the concept of health is deeply rooted in rural areas and imperceptibly change people's living behaviors and habits.

ABSTRACT

To establish an electrochemiluminescence immunoassay (ECLIA) for the detection of influenza virus B (Flu B), we biotinylated the Flu B monoclonal antibody (mAb),labeled the paired Ab with ruthenium and used the streptavidin-coated microparticles in this study. The ECL intensity was linear with the concentrations of antigen of Flu B in the range of 0.55 microg/mL to 17.5 microg/mL, with a detection limit of 0.55 microg/mL (S/N= 3). The precision, sensitivity and specificity were evaluated. The established ECLIA for Flu B antigen in this study was specific, sensitive and precise. It may provide a convenient and rapid technique for clinical detection of Flu B.

ABSTRACT

To research piezoelectric immunosensor array for rapid detecting HIV(1+2), piezoelectric immunosensor array matrix was designed. HIV(1+2)C1 antigen was immobilized onto the silver electrodes of quartz-crystal microbalance, which was modified with adsorption and cross-linked method. In the clean air flow and monitoring environment, standard quality control and clinical serum sample were detected. The linear range for the measurement of HIV(1+2) was 0.01-0.2 NCU/ml. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of HIV(1+2) piezoelectric protein sensor array were 91.7%, 93.3% and 92.7% respectively.

ABSTRACT

Based on integrate circuit (IC) technology, an eight-channel gold electrodes (GEs) array was developed. The immunosensor array is prepared by co-immobilizing thionine and Hepatitis B (HB) antibody on the gold electrodes through covalently binding them to GEs with a cysteamine/glutaraldehyde linkage. Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) was detected qualitatively and quantitatively by the peak current decrease percentage of the thionine. HBsAg positive/negative standard serum was well defined by the array. 8-channel synchronous detection for HBsAg was noted to be of good accuracy and reliability. The results of its clinical application were in good agreement with the results from ELISA.

ABSTRACT

We utilized polyethylenimine (PEI) and Glu solution to immobilize the antibody of Treponema Pallidum on the silver electrode of piezoelectric quartz crystal and detect the standard antigen solution at different concentration. The antibody keeps the intrinsic Y type molecular structure revealed by AFM. The resonant range of the sensor is between 5 x 10(-5) - 1.25 x 10(-4) g/mL and the correlation coefficient is 0.9976, the optimal resonance pH is 7.5. We found the sensor having good selectivity in comparison with the method using BSA. At last, a discussion on the reproducibility of the sensor is presented.

ABSTRACT

This paper develops an intelligent NO delivery system cooperating with the ventilator to make NO inhaled safely, reliably, conveniently and economically, which is based on correlation between the parameter setup of the ventilator and the concentration of NO. The circuit control system consists of a mass flow controller and a CPU mainly. A mixing unit is designed to mix NO with the gas from the ventilator uniformly. Clinical experiments show that the NO from the intelligent delivery system can decrease PH and increase SaO2 with the concentration of generated NO2 less than 5ppm.

ABSTRACT

The basic principles of piezoelectric quartz crystal immunosensor are reviewed. Its characteristics and applications in biomedicine are summarized. The feasibility of its application in detecting cardiac troponin I (cTnI) is briefly analyzed. There's no need of any signs and segregation steps in the technique, so the instrument is simple and easily-operated. Besides, it has a bright application future for its merits of rapid detection and precise quantification.

Objective To find a solution to the long-term storage of enormous amount of imaging data in hospital picture archiving communication system (PACS). Methods Medical imaging data collected by devices of Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine-3 (DICOM3) and non-DICOM3 were transformed into the storage format, metadata instance, and expression pattern of digital images standardized by DICOM3. Based on the requirements of data utilization and storage system and the optimal principle of function and value, the reasonable flow of imaging data in PACS network were scientifically allocated by application of on-line, near-line, and off-line storage patterns and by reasonable allocation of the volume and clusters of storage devices. Results The PACS storage system established by our method, characterized by super capacity of error tolerance, permanent unrestricted storage, quick in retrieval, and quick, convenient and reliable in storage and reading, could meet the requirements of long-term storage and management of enormous amount of medical imaging data. Conclusion Grading storage is the effective method for long-term storage of enormous amount of medical imaging data in PACS.

ABSTRACT

In order to investigate the possibility of analysis of single strand DNA by using DNA biosensor, we developed a quartz crystal DNA biosensor and studied its performances. The single strand DNA probe was immobilized on the surface of gold filled quartz crystal by biotin immunoreaction. The DNA biosensors were used to detect the complete complementary and single base mismatch complementary single strand DNA in solution. The DNA biosensors were regenerated with 0 1mol/L HCl after hybridization. The hybridization sensitivity of quartz crystal DNA biosensor is 10ng/ml. In the range of 5~40ng/ml, there was a linear correlation between responding signals and concentrations of complementary single strand DNA with a high specificity. The DNA biosensor could be repeatedly used over 5 times by using 0 1mol/L HCl for regeneration.
